If you are reading this blog, then chances are you are of a certain age bracket. The age bracket that has an idea of what life was towards the end of the 20th century. Even if your idea of life in that era is “vague” at best, I want you to for a moment remember what it was at the time.
Now that you are magically transported back to 1999, can you imagine a complete stranger contacting you for some time on your schedule so that he can interview you about a topic of his choice that he thinks you would be good at? Oh and he would be videotaping this “interview” and publicizing it. So you humor him a little more and ask him where this would be held, and he says he is in a time zone that is 3 hours behind yours, and that neither of you would have to leave your respective basements.
At which point, you would automatically think of this as a crank call, and cut the call.
